There are no subtitles options!
Works like a charm with my 2012 LG Smart TV
App is very simple to use and works great. Simple drag and drop as they advertise. I will buy the full version as soon as you add .mkv support for Xbox One. Thats the ONLY reason I havent bought it yet.
Playback is limited to 2 mins on Lite version. Seems to work OK but I cannot evaluate quality of streaming in such a short time therefore will not commit to paying for full version.
NOTE: only 2 minutes of use for free version. can’t seem to send Itunes play lists. Wont alow drag and drop images from Photos So dont expect it to work anywhere near what apple tv does.
Works very well once you turn of your firewall in 10.8 Mountain Lion. Should be a description saying this in the headliner. Or of course you can keep your firewall on and open a certain port.
Samsung Smart TV, OS X 10.8.2. Just sits there saying its still searching. Tried adding an exception, nope, turned the fw off, still no.
I tryed it on my new Samsung and it worked fine. thx
this does not do what it says it will do, all it does is freeze itself and freezes my Sony Blu Ray player and I have to unplug it from the outlet. As of now this is 100% usless, we needs a fix ASAP!!!!
The program is complete waste of bandwidth. It does not do anything, cannot open video files etc. just tells you to visit their WEB Site, which is promising but does nothing in fact.
The lite was to lite to review. the software located the TV , slow to initialize but only played for max of 60 sec.
Finds the XBox One, Sbox initializes the video, then nothing happens. Either the XBox or this needs an update.
The app says that it’s looking for a smart tv and then gives up. No option to guide it to the right place. No FAQs or online support. Just email to the developers. Maybe it works in the pay version but the reviews are not favorable enough to throw $5 at it.
It’s simple and works good with my xbox one.
I have a samsung TV F6400, TV ES8000 and an imac running 10.9.1. I sent .AVI. MKV and .MP4 files and they work :) I only wish they had better control on playing, pausing and FF. But it works for me! I’ll upgrade to the pay version after a few more tests.
It work great and was really easy to use
i got it to play once but can get it to play again.
This app recognized both my Samsung TV and my Xbox 360 and it was able to display photos, but it would not play any video at all through either device. I tried it with three different 1080p standard .mp4 files all taken by the same camera. These files played back fine on my computer. When I tried to play one of these videos through this app, it would sometimes display a message saying that this was a trial version and unable to play videos longer than two minutes. However, each video I tried was well under one minute. I tried adding the videos individually, or in a playlist with other videos, or with other videos and photos. I was unable to make it play videos at all. My phone is able to play videos and photos with no issues on either the TV or the Xbox, so the problem must be with this app. It also appears to be unable to use the standard controls on the TV or Xbox 360 to navigate between photos, but I didn’t test this extensively. The app also seems to exhibit inconsistent, buggy behavior, at least from my limited testing. The interface looks nice, but if the app doesn’t work that doesn’t really do it for me. A pity it doesn’t work right– I probably would have just spent the $5 to upgrade to the full version if it had.
It worked great with my LG TV, except, the app doesn’t let you select audio tracks. So, it wasn’t very useful.
