Have to convert .mp4 to .mov for them to play on my TV.

I decided to try and use this program with all of my devices. The program did not detect my PS3 or PS4 but it did detect my Xbox 360 unfortunately no video files would play when dropped into the program. The Xbox 360 would just say “Playback Error” and I tried at least three different type of video formats and got the same thing each time. I did not try it on a Xbox One so it may work great on that, I don’t know. Here’s my suggestions: If you want to stream to 360 just get “XBConnect”. In my opinion the easiest way to stream video files to your TV is with the application “Beamer” however Beamer does require a Apple TV but it’s completely worth it and I’ve yet to run into a single format it couldn’t handle. It’s as simple as dragging and dropping the file into the application and watching.

I was able to start streaming an mp4 movie just fine. Haven’t test 360 yet.

If you found this app searching for a DLNA player and you are interested in piping music around, keep searching. This app will only use a TV or a game console as the renderer, will not find or talk to DLNA-compatible audio equipment.

I used it for one movie. Quick drag and drop. I didn’t seem to have any issues.

This app is a "check” app, which means it is a trial app that allows for you to see if your computer/device is capable to play to your tv, game console, etc. The video is limited to two minutes and the files, so far as of file formating, I have had no issues with any yet. But please remember that this is a trial application designed to test if your computer/device is capable to stream to your tv or game console! If you like how the application works then you can buy the full, non “lite” version and stream away with no constraints!

Could not get it to stream any movies to my xbox one.
